Methocarbamol with Acetaminophen (USP) or Paracetamol (INN) - trade names include Robinaxol, Carbafen, Methoxacet, Miyorel, Muscle and Back Pain Relief, Robaxacet, Robaxacet Extra Strength, Robaxifen, Robaxisal Compuesto - is a combined medication containing Methocarbamol (a muscle relaxant from carbamic acid esters) and Acetaminophen/Paracetamol (an analgesic from anilides pharmacological group). This medicine is used to treat muscle spasms and to relieve pain caused by strains, sprains, muscle injuries, including muscle spasms, muscle pain, back pain, body pain, night body pain.

Indications and usage:
Robinaxol, Robaxacet (Methocarbamol and Acetaminophen/Paracetamol) tablets are indicated for effective relief of pain associated with muscle spasm such as back pain, tense neck muscles, strains and sprains.
Dosage and administration:
Adult Dosage of Robaxacet and Robinaxol (12 years and older): 2 caplets, every 6 hours, not to exceed 8 caplets daily.
Dosage forms and strengt:
Robinaxol tablets containing active ingredients paracetamol 250 mg and methocarbamol 350 mg.
Robinaxol tablets containing active ingredients paracetamol 325 mg and methocarbamol 400 mg.
Robaxacet caplets containing active ingredients acetaminophen 325 mg and methocarbamol 400 mg.
Overdosage:
In case of overdose by Robaxacet or Robinaxol call a local poison control centre or get medical help right away. Quick medical attention is critical even if you do not notice any signs or symptoms.
Contraindications:
hypersensitivity to methocarbamol, paracetamol (acetaminophen), or any other ingredients of Robinaxol and Robaxacet
asthma, anaphylaxis, hives, rhinitis, or other allergic reactions that are caused by acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) or other NSAIDs
taking other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs)
pregnancy
breast-feeding
heart surgery
active stomach ulcer or duodenal ulcer, or a history of recurrent stomach or duodenal ulcers
active inflammatory gastrointestinal (stomach and intestine) disease (e.g., diverticulosis, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease)
active liver disease or poor liver function
nasal polyps
poor or worsening kidney function
systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE)
Warnings:
Liver warning
Robaxacet and Robinaxol contain acetaminophen (paracetamol). Maximum daily dose is 8 caplets in 24 hours. Severe or possibly fatal liver damage may occur if you take: more than the recommended dose in 24 hours; with other drugs containing acetaminophen; while drinking three (3) or more alcoholic drinks every day. Symptoms of liver damage may include: yellowing of the skin/eyes, dark urine; nausea, sweating, vomiting, stomach pain; unusual tiredness, and/or loss of appetite.
Allergy alert
Acetaminophen may cause serious skin reactions. Symptoms may include skin reddening, blisters and rash. If any of the above noted symptoms occur, stop use and seek medical help right away. Stop use and consult a doctor if pain lasts more than 5 days. Ask a healthcare provider before use if you suffer from chronic alcoholism, serious liver or kidney disease.
Precautions:
This package contains enough drug to seriously harm a child. Do not use with other products containing acetaminophen or methocarbamol. If you are not sure whether a drug contains acetaminophen, ask a doctor, pharmacist, or other healthcare professional.
Adult use only. Do not take more than the recommended dose unless advised by a doctor. Use the smallest effective dose.
Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use of Robinaxol or Robaxacet:
if you take warfarin containing blood thinning drugs
if pregnant
breast feeding or under a physician's care.
Adverse reactions, side effects:
Most common side effects of Robaxacet and Robinaxol pills are bloating or gas, constipation, diarrhea, difficulty sleeping, drowsiness, heartburn or indigestion, nausea, nervousness, stomach pain or cramps, tiredness. If these effects appear and are bothersome, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
To report suspected side effects of Robaxacet caplets contact Pfizer or Khandelwal Laboratories (for Robinaxol), or your local FDA.
Drug interactions:
Do not use with a monamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) or for two weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. Consult a healthcare professional prior to combining with medication for high blood pressure, depression or any other medication including prescription drugs, salicylates, nasal decongestants or pain medications. May cause drowsiness or dizziness or nausea. Consult a doctor before use if taking sleeping pills, sedatives or tranquilizers, or cold and allergy medications, since these medications may increase drowsiness. Avoid alcoholic beverages, driving a motor vehicle or operating machinery.
Storage and handling:
Store Robaxacet and Robinaxol at room temperature (15 °C - 30 °C).
Keep out of reach of children.
