Indications and usage:

Robinaxol, Robaxacet (Methocarbamol and Acetaminophen/Paracetamol) tablets are indicated for effective relief of pain associated with muscle spasm such as back pain, tense neck muscles, strains and sprains.


Dosage and administration:

Adult Dosage of Robaxacet and Robinaxol (12 years and older): 2 caplets, every 6 hours, not to exceed 8 caplets daily.

    Overdosage:

    Contraindications:

  • hypersensitivity to methocarbamol, paracetamol (acetaminophen), or any other ingredients of Robinaxol and Robaxacet
  • asthma, anaphylaxis, hives, rhinitis, or other allergic reactions that are caused by acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) or other NSAIDs
  • taking other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs)
  • pregnancy
  • breast-feeding
  • heart surgery
  • active stomach ulcer or duodenal ulcer, or a history of recurrent stomach or duodenal ulcers

    Warnings:

    Liver warning

    Robaxacet and Robinaxol contain acetaminophen (paracetamol). Maximum daily dose is 8 caplets in 24 hours. Severe or possibly fatal liver damage may occur if you take: more than the recommended dose in 24 hours; with other drugs containing acetaminophen; while drinking three (3) or more alcoholic drinks every day. Symptoms of liver damage may include: yellowing of the skin/eyes, dark urine; nausea, sweating, vomiting, stomach pain; unusual tiredness, and/or loss of appetite.

    Allergy alert

    Acetaminophen may cause serious skin reactions. Symptoms may include skin reddening, blisters and rash. If any of the above noted symptoms occur, stop use and seek medical help right away. Stop use and consult a doctor if pain lasts more than 5 days. Ask a healthcare provider before use if you suffer from chronic alcoholism, serious liver or kidney disease.


    Precautions:

    This package contains enough drug to seriously harm a child. Do not use with other products containing acetaminophen or methocarbamol. If you are not sure whether a drug contains acetaminophen, ask a doctor, pharmacist, or other healthcare professional.

May cause drowsiness or dizziness or nausea. Consult a doctor before use if taking sleeping pills, sedatives or tranquilizers, or cold and allergy medications, since these medications may increase drowsiness. Avoid alcoholic beverages, driving a motor vehicle or operating machinery.
